Integrated Community Development Organization (ICDO) Lalitpur

“Community Based Organizations (CBOs) for the sustainable development of the community.”

Integrated Community Development Organization (ICDO), is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political network organization of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) of Lalitpur, established in 2010. Registered at the District Administration Office (Reg. no. 3041/329), District Development Committee (Reg. no. 1812) and Inland Revenue Office (PAN no. 304136474) Lalitpur and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (Affiliation no. 29447) Kathmandu.

ICDO has been working for the sustainable development of the society envisioning “self-reliant, well-governed, prosperous, just and equitable society.” ICDO has been working in the areas of sustainable livelihood, DRR, WASH, Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), CBOs development and strengthening, Land Rights and good governance for the past seven years.

ICDO strongly believes in bottom up sustainable development approach. That is why, ICDO is promoting local CBOs to identify and mobilize locally available knowledge, skills, experiences and resources to abolish the existing social issues of the discriminated, poor and marginalized community; and strengthening capacity to access the external resources and best utilize of it in favor of poor and oppressed people.

ICDO missions for the capacity development of discriminated, poor and marginalized people’s organizations on identifying, mobilizing and exchanging resources for their empowerment to make self-reliant, well-governed, prosperous, just and equitable society.

To uplift the living standard of discriminated, poor and marginalized people by enabling them to claim their rights.
